The NEH2000BY is a high-performance energy harvesting power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed for low-power applications. It efficiently harvests energy from photovoltaic (PV) cells to charge rechargeable batteries. The device features an advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm that utilizes a hill-climbing method to optimize energy delivery, achieving maximum efficiency even in rapidly changing environmental conditions, with a detection interval of 0.7 seconds. This PMIC operates within a power harvesting range of 35 µW to 2 mW and includes a high-efficiency, low-power 2x boosting DC-to-DC converter. It is packaged in a compact 16-terminal Quad Flat package measuring 3 mm x 3 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. The NEH2000BY is compatible with various types of rechargeable batteries and is ideal for use in wireless IoT devices, smart remote controls, electronic shelf labels, wearable devices, industrial monitoring, and consumer electronics.
