Newport MKS Optical Beam Position Detector, 9-mm sensor CONEX-PSD9

Description
The CONEX-PSD9 Position Sensing Detector provides accurate XY position information of laser beams and is ideally suited for laser beam stabilization, laser tracking and general beam diagnostics. Unlike quadrant detectors, the improved tetra-lateral effect diode of the CONEX-PSD9 is highly linear over the full sensor size of 9 mm x 9 mm, and delivers a third signal proportional to the beam power. Different than many detectors that are tweaked for high bandwidth, the CONEX-PSD9 has been optimized for stability and compatibility with pulsed laser beams. An analog input filter with 319 Hz cut-off frequency suppresses high frequency noise and undesired signal ringing when used with pulsed lasers. An additional digital low pass filter can be set by software in a frequency range from 0 Hz to 1000 Hz to further improve signal homogeneity. CONEX-PSD9 Responsivity for 320-1100 nm CONEX-PSD9 Maximum Optical Power Simple Control Software All CONEX modules provide easy, plug-and-play, USB PC control. Multiple units can be connected to a single USB port using standard USB hub technology. CONEX-PSD modules are powered through the USB port and includes an intuitive software. The CONEX module is fully supported for software development with LabVIEW™.
