The 60090 Interface Kit is used to connect a Q Series lamp housing to a 68938 or OPS-Q250 power supply. This item provides the electronic interface to utilize quartz tungsten halogen (QTH) lamps and IR emitters with the 60000 Q Housing. It also includes a safety interlock feature to ensure the lamp/emitter cannot be used without the lamp housing cover being in place. This Interface Kit is included with Q Series Light Sources using QTH lamps. If the Q Housing is being configured by ordering individual parts, the 60090 is required. Note that the 60090 is not for use with arc lamps or deuterium lamps. Because the Q Series Lamp Housing is designed to be flexible and easy to reconfigure, when using these other types of light sources, order the appropriate interface kit. Included cable is model 70050.
