The 3MD20BD.2 Broadband Dielectric Mirror is an extremely versatile mirror for laboratory applications and highly efficient over a broad wavelength range. This 1.181 inch (30.0 mm) diameter mirror is made from a 6.0 mm thick Borofloat® 33 substrate. Borofloat® 33 has low thermal expansion and is an excellent substrate for most applications. Our BD.2 coating offers high reflectance for near infrared diode laser applications. The BD-2 coating is extremely durable and will withstand repeated cleaning. This mirror has a λ/10 surface flatness and a 15-5 surface quality. Borofloat® 33 Substrates Borofloat 33 is a high quality borosilicate glass that offers low thermal expansion and high thermal shock resistance. NIR Broadband Dielectric Coating Our BD.2 coating offers high reflectance for near infrared diode laser applications. Reflectivity is greater than 99% for s-polarization and 97% for p-polarization from 700 – 950 nm at 0 – 45° angle of incidence. Greater than 80% average reflectivity at 632.8 nm is also provided to permit easy alignment using a HeNe laser.
