Shale Shaker Screens NOV manufactures screens for BRANDT™ shale shakers, which include the COBRA™, VSM™ and LCM Series shakers. Replacement screens are also manufactured for competitor equipment. Replacement screens for competitor shale shakers combine proven mesh combinations with an innovative, diamond-patterned plate to improve separation efficiency of the shaker, while extending screen life. These NOV replacement screens are engineered to meet the exact design specifications of the competitor’s shale shaker and can be installed directly on the unit using the stock wedges. Replacement screens are available in a variety of mesh combinations to best suit the needs of the drilling application. BRANDT screens will enable you to gain the best energy transfer from the basket to the screen surface while maximizing screen vibration which increases conductance (flow), cut point, and minimizes non-blanked open area on screens. As a voting member of the American Petroleum Institute, NOV has fully supported the development of the API 13C RP (ISO 13501) standard for screens. All BRANDT screens are compliant to API 13C RP (ISO13501), which means the screen must be tested and labeled in accordance to the API 13C RP standard. This testing and labeling enable prediction of the performance of the screen anywhere in the world as an internationally accepted practice. The new recommended screen labeling practice provides the following API RP 13C information: API Designation Conductance in kD/mm D100 Value Non-Blanked Open Area in Square Feet
