NKK Switches Process Sealed Subminiature Pushbutton AB15AW

The AB Series is a family of sealed subminiature pushbuttons designed for low-voltage, logic-level applications. The switches feature a subminiature footprint with 2.54mm x 2.54mm terminal spacing, conforming to standard PCB grid layouts. They have a maximum electrical capacity of 0.4VA at 28V AC/DC, a contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum, and an insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC. The mechanical and electrical life is rated at 50,000 operations minimum. The actuator has a nominal operating force of 2.55N, with a total travel of 1.1mm and nonshorting contact timing. The housing is made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, with phosphor bronze contacts gold-plated for reliability. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The switches are fully sealed to prevent contamination and are suitable for automated soldering and cleaning.
