The AB series consists of sealed subminiature pushbuttons designed for logic-level applications, with a subminiature footprint (1/3 the size of Series M switches) and 2.54mm terminal spacing compliant with standard PCB grids. The switches feature a totally sealed body, STC contact mechanism for positive detent actuation and enhanced reliability, and are rated for 0.4VA maximum at 28V AC/DC. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance is 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC, and dielectric strength is 500V AC for one minute. Mechanical and electrical life is 50,000 operations minimum. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The part is PCB mount with a right-angle bracket configuration and a 7.5mm diameter cap. Nominal operating force is 2.55N, and contact timing is nonshorting. No UL or CSA certifications are provided.
