The AB11AP-FA is a subminiature, sealed, single-pole double-throw pushbutton switch designed for logic-level applications. It features a 0.4VA maximum electrical capacity at 28V AC/DC, with contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum and insulation resistance of 500 megohms minimum. The switch has a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 operations minimum, a nominal operating force of 2.55N, and nonshorting contact timing. It is mounted on a PCB with .100" x .100" terminal spacing and uses a gold-plated phosphor bronze movable contact and brass with gold plating for stationary contacts. The plunger is polyacetal, and the housing is glass fiber reinforced polyamide. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The switch has a pretravel of 0.7mm and total travel of 1.1mm, and its terminals are epoxy sealed for contamination resistance. The AB series is not UL recognized or CSA certified. The AB11 model lacks terminal 2.
