TPX® Film Opulent™ is a high performance heat resistant release film used for a wide range of applications including flex circuits. The non stickiness polymethyl pentene film is available in both single layer and multi layer and either may be selected according to the application.

Releasability Since its surface tension is low, Opulent exhibits excellent releasability against a broad range of materials such as:
Epoxy resin
Polyurethane
Unsaturated polyester
Phenolic resin
EVA
Hot melt adhesives
Acrylic-based adhesives
Various metals such as gold and copper
Various rubbers such as silicone rubber, natural rubber, SBR, NBR
Cushioning Property Opulent can conform to any complex geometry shape because it softens at approximately 40°C (104°F).
Heat Resistance The non stickiness polymethyl pentene film can be used in a high temperature range of 200°C. Since the melting point of TPX is approximately 230°C (446°F), the film can be used in any process even at 200°C (392°F) adequately.
Less Contamination The Opulent line contains no plasticizer or silicone.
Environmental Effects Opulent can be disposed of by incineration.
