The Pyrogenics Group has over 40 years experience in providing industry solutions for hardness, friction, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, within a high strength material that consistently perform over a broad range of temperatures. Our specialty is the production of pyrolytic graphite and custom carbon composites.
The production facility of The Pyrogenics Group is in Easton, Pennsylvania. The multi-building complex houses a variety of sophisticated equipment including two large high-temperature furnaces, two medium-sized furnaces and a small pilot furnace. These are immediately available for any toll operation and are supported by a full service analytical lab.
Our machine shop is fully equipped to finish every order to the customer's exact specifications and quality requirements. Since we are experts at the pyrolysis process, we can tailor your material needs to the application by provide affordable resin impregnation for limited load bearing applications. We also offer infiltration and deposition for high friction performance under demanding material strength requirements.
For industries facing added material strength requirements we offer a unique silicon carbide coating on carbon composites that provides superior strength and oxidation resistance.
