The MTCH1010 is a 1 channel Touch controller with digital output. The sensitivity, response time, signal oversampling - ultimately the power consumption is configurable. The MTCH1010 delivers water tolerant touch as it support driven shield output. The driven shield increases SNR, actively protects against noise and enables water tolerant touch.
The MTCH1010 delivers a robust touch experience under challenging condition. Please follow the design guidelines from Microchips Capacitive Touch Design Guide (AN2334).
The MTCH1010 Evaluation Kit (EV24Z38A) follows these guidelines and passes the highest test level 3 (10Vrms) of the IEC6100-4-6 conducted immunity standard.
