Potential applications are behind quarto stands for mill control or quality control and in shearing lines for final quality assurance. The systems stand out due to their solid steel frame, water-cooled optical sensors and an integrated, temperature-stable compensation frame which compensates for temperature-induced mechanical changes based on a patented process. For typical applications in shearing lines, thicknessCONTROL MTS 9201.LLT can be expanded to up to five measuring units that can be moved independently of each other.
