Reliable detection of workpiece floating due to cutting chips results in eliminating machining defects. Also, IP67 protective structure enables installation inside the machine. Shortened air piping improves response speed and productivity. Response speed: 0.8 second when tube length is 1.5m. Within range of 1-100µm/80-350µm, the signal point can be configurable easily by pressing the button for 1 second. In 2015, DPA was awarded the excellent prize for “ Tokyo Venture Technology Award”, a prestigious invention award in Japan.
