The MT7553M10 is a millimeter-wave noise receiver module designed for noise parameter measurements from 75.0 to 110.0 GHz using WR10 waveguide interface. It includes an integrated downconverter, bias tee, and low-noise amplifier to improve system sensitivity and calibration accuracy. The module is designed to operate with a standalone noise analyzer or combined VNA/NFA system where the noise analyzer operates up to 26.5 GHz, while the VNA supports frequencies up to 110 GHz.
Noise occurs naturally in any active device or circuit limiting the minimum levels of useful signals causing unwanted interference on weaker signals. Therefore, it is important to design circuits to minimize the effects of noise by quantifying them in the form of noise parameters. The MT7553 series enhances the typical noise system measurement accuracy reducing the total system noise figure by adding an integrated switch and wideband LNA close to the DUT. The Noise Switching Module integrates the entire input network while the Noise Receiver Module integrates the entire output network of a typical noise parameter measurement system into a turnkey solution.
