The HX2400 is a broadband, ultra low phase noise RF amplifier designed for laboratory and measurement applications requiring minimal additive jitter. It operates from 8 MHz to 4 GHz with a gain of 14 dB at 1 GHz and output power of +18 dBm at 100 MHz. Phase noise is -172 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset with +18 dBm output. The device is powered by 6 V to 12 V DC at 80 mA and features an integrated ultra low noise bias network. It has SMA jack connectors for RF and DC, operates from 0°C to 50°C, and is housed in a shielded enclosure measuring 44.5 mm x 38.1 mm x 12.7 mm with four threaded M3 mounting holes. The part is RoHS compliant and includes a one-year warranty.
The HX2400 is a broadband, Ultra Low Phase Noise RF Amplifier originally designed for use in laboratory and measurement applications where low phase noise and low additive jitter are critical. The proprietary circuitry allows for broadband, ultra low phase noise performance while being powered via a typical bench top power supply. The HX2400 can be powered from bench top power supplies, a standard AC/DC adapter (available separately) or via a 6VDC to 12VDC battery. Battery operation is ideal for use in closed systems and ground isolated systems where low noise is absolutely critical. Furthermore, Hi-Rel design and manufacturing standards have been adopted ensuring a solid deign for demanding OEM applications. Maury products are 100% final performance tested for phase noise verification.
