The FOM120 series general-purpose power meters are great for both premise and outside plant applications. These units are ideal for measurement of optical power and optical loss/attenuations in a fiber optic network. The FOM120 meter is calibrated at the four most common industry standard wavelengths 850nm, 1300nm, 1310nm & 1550nm for both singlemode and multimode transmitters. The 1 mm Germanium detector offers a broad dynamic range of ~60dB which far exceeds the requirements of the majority of users. The FOM120 utilizes a 2.5mm universal connector for both ST and SC connections (other connector styles available upon request).
