The CS-2000 is a polychromatortype spectroradiometer which can measure contrasts of 100,000:1 and features the world's top level capability to detect extremely low luminance levels of 0.003 cd/m2.
The optical design and signal processing technologies of this instrument also provide accurate measurements of low to extremely low luminance and chromaticity measurements. Measurements are calculated in as little as 5 seconds, which eliminates mechanical and electrical noise factors.
The CS-2000 has a low polarization error of 2% which ensures more stable measurements of displays that use polarization, including LCDs. The selectable measuring angle feature enables the user to select the optimum angle of 1°, .2°, or .1° based on the application. With a temperature range from 5° to 35°C, this instrument is reliable in any work environment.
Measurements can be taken after a warm-up time of only 30 seconds. The CS-2000 has three measurement settings, internal and external synchronization, and multi-integration mode. Synchronization can be done either internally with user inputs or externally via line input. Multi-integration mode reduces variations due to unsynchronized measurement or synchronized measurements of sources that have irregular light emission cycles.
The CS-2000 features a color LCD screen and simple operation panel, easy for first time users.
