JENOPTIK Optical Systems, Inc. Illuminator Light Source LQ-r

Description
The LQ-r is used as a homogeneous cold light source of radiation and was developed especially for use with the Telecentric Transmission Illuminators TDB 35, TDB 90 and TDB 150. High brightness LEDs form the actual radiation source. A scattering medium is placed in front of the LEDs to create homogeneous illumination. This functions in virtually the same manner as a Lambert emitter. The brightness is continuously adjustable from 1-100% with a external potentiometer accessible. In order to ensure a high level of time homogeneity, the brightness is regulated with a constant current source.
