I/Executive2 is the redundant server application component that coordinates the use of I/CAD applications. Running on one of the database servers in a two-server (redundant) configuration, I/Executive2 provides communication among dispatcher workstations. I/Executive2 also provides for central access to utility databases, and facilitates records communications between the system, mobile data terminals (MDTs), and external databases.
