InfraTec GmbH Extended Pyroelectric Detector LIE-332f

The LIE-332f-# is a single-channel pyroelectric detector in a TO-39 housing with a small lithium tantalate element of nominal 1.3 mm diameter, coated with a metal black layer for enhanced IR absorption. It operates in voltage mode with a JFET output and features a thermal time constant of 50 ms and an electrical time constant of 1 s. The detector has a voltage responsivity of at least 120 V/W at 100 Hz and 500 K, a noise density of no more than 65 nV/√Hz, and a detectivity typically of 3.0×10⁸ cm√Hz/W at 100 Hz. The aperture size is nominally 5.0 mm in diameter. The operating temperature range is -25 to +60 °C, and the maximum drain-source voltage is 18 V. Standard IR filter options include BaF₂, CaF₂, CsI, KBr, and sapphire windows. The field of view is 105° with a 0.4 mm thick CaF₂ or BaF₂ window.
