InfraTec GmbH Extended Pyroelectric Detector LIE-312f

LIE-312f is a single-channel enhanced pyroelectric detector in a TO-39 housing with a 2.0 mm diameter lithium-tantalate element and a metal black coating for broad spectral response. It operates in voltage mode with a JFET output, a thermal time constant of 50 ms, and an electrical time constant of 2 s. Voltage responsivity is minimum 50 V/W at 100 Hz and 500 K, with noise density below 50 nV/√Hz. Detectivity is 3.0 × 10⁸ cm√Hz/W at 100 Hz and 1.3 × 10⁸ cm√Hz/W at 1 kHz. The offset voltage ranges from 0.4 to 1.5 V, with a maximum drain-source voltage of 18 V. Operating temperature is -25 to +60 °C. The aperture is nominally 5.0 mm in diameter. Field of view is 90° with CaF₂ or BaF₂ windows. Custom and standard optical filters are available.
