Gaming Sensor represents a shift from Inertial Labs traditional embedded 3DOF orientation systems. OS3D-GS is designed to provide compensated sensor data to the PC where the sensor fusion algorithms are then processed and applied to the application. This allows for the potential to reduce power consumption, size, and price in comparison to the OS3D.OEM. With the future design of OS3D-GS being the size of a standard postage stamp, it will be possible to embed the sensor into almost anything that would desire orientation tracking.
Key Features and Functionality
Real-time, zero latency 3DOF orientation tracking with PC-based algorithms
Compensated raw data for acceleration, rate of turn, and magnetic field
Up to 500Hz data update rate
Individually calibrated inertial sensors
Dynamic magnetic disturbance compensation
Customizable sensor parameters
Ability to string sensors together
Full featured software SDK
Ultra compact design
