Woven mesh industrial textiles are constructed from a broad variety of monofilament synthetic fibers. This precision weaving process creates fine mesh industrial textiles with apertures (hole sizes) as small as 1 micron.
The construction of these industrial textiles is determined by the yarn type, yarn size and thread count. Monofilament yarns are a single continuous filament which produces a relatively smooth surface.
Thread Count of a fabric refers to the number of threads per inch. Warp threads run lengthwise in a fabric. Weft or filling threads run across the width of a fabric at right angles to the warp. Since monofilament fabrics are produced with equal yarn diameters and equal thread counts in both the warp and weft directions, the mesh opening is square.
These versatile precision woven fabrics meet stringent technical requirements in automotive, biomedical, chemical processing, and water treatment applications. Synthetic woven media is also used as a filter cloth. Choose from nylon, polyester, and polypropylene in a wide range of widths
