This Temporary Horizontal Lifeline is simple to install and with less adjustments. One standard size mounts to any beam over 4" top flange (up to 2 1/2" thick), for safety of workers walking or working on beams and girders. It can be used by two workers in each section. The unique design has a built-in shock absorber and is lightweight. With the cable at 42" height, it can serve as a hand grab to steady a worker. The Beamguard is offset at an angle to allow free movement while carrying materials along a beam. It may also be used 10 to 60 feet between posts and any number of posts in a row without interruption as on bridges, longspans, girders, roof peak, etc.
