Hottinger Brüel & Kjær A/S Ring Force Transducer 1217C2

The Dytran series 1217C2 is a ring style piezoelectric charge mode force sensor offered with a sensitivity of 19 pC/lbf, a full scale range of 7kN, and reliable high temperature operation to +248°F (+120°C). The industry commonly refers to these sensors as "force washers", due to their similar appearance. Units were designed to measure rapid or slowly changing dynamic forces in machinery and in other applications where a thru stud or bolt holds the sensor in place in a preloaded condition. Featuring a quartz sensing element operating in compression mode, and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing. Units incorporate an intergral 10-32 coaxial cable and are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
