Hernon Fusionbond 3770-15 is a two-component methacrylate adhesive that cures at room temperature with a 1:1 mix ratio, offering a working life of 15 to 20 minutes and a cure temperature range of -67°F to 250°F. It bonds metals and plastics such as acrylic and fiberglass, fills gaps up to 0.125 inches, and achieves a shear strength of 2,000-3,000 psi on steel and aluminum after 24 hours. The cured adhesive has a Shore D hardness of 85-95, a glass transition temperature of 65-75°C, and a tensile modulus of 57,020 psi. It is supplied as a yellow liquid with a viscosity of 30,000 to 60,000 cP at 25°C and requires clean, dry surfaces for optimal bonding. The product is not recommended for use in pure oxygen or with strong oxidizing materials and must be stored between 45°F and 75°F.
