HEINKEL Inverting Filter Centrifuges have a horizontally mounted bowl. The unique characteristic is the automatic heel-free discharge. While under rotation, the fi lter cloth is pulled out of the bowl by means of an axially moveable bowl-insert. This causes the fi lter cloth to be Inverted inside-out. The isolated cake, regardless of the residual moisture level, will always discharge completely off the fi lter cloth with no particle damage compared to other centrifuge technology with mechanical cake removal devices. The heel-free product discharge offers increased yields and consistent product quality.
The Heinkel Inverting Filter Centrifuge is used to filter high-quality, potent, and difficult-to-filter substances. The inverting principle allows for a complete automated discharge of the solids from the filter-cloth. Additionally, the heel-free solids-removal inverting action eliminates operator exposure to hazardous substances, and provides a safe work environment.
