The L9873 is a DC 24 V electrostatic charge remover that uses soft X-ray photoionization to neutralize static charges without airflow, maintenance, or dust generation. It operates directly from manufacturing equipment controllers, eliminating the need for a dedicated power supply. The unit emits X-rays at 4.9 kV with a tube current of 300 µA and a radiation angle of 150°, enabling wide-area neutralization. It meets IEC 61326-1 Group 1, Class A for EMC and IEC 61010-1/A1 for safety, and complies with RoHS and WEEE directives. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to +40 °C with humidity below 60% non-condensing. X-ray shielding requires 0.11 mm of SUS304 stainless steel or 0.23 mm of aluminum. Safety interlocks are required to prevent exposure.
