The C4159-05 is a low noise amplifier for InAs photovoltaic detectors (Dewar type), offering three switchable conversion impedance ranges: 10⁸/10⁷/10⁶ V/A. It provides voltage output with a DC to 100 kHz bandwidth in the lower ranges, a 50 Ω output impedance, and a maximum output voltage of +13 V into a 1 MΩ load. The amplifier operates on a ±15 V supply, drawing +30 mA and -22 mA maximum, with an output offset voltage of ±5 mV and an equivalent input noise current of 0.25 pA/√Hz at 1 kHz in the high range. The unit measures 73 × 53 × 32 mm, with a BNC output and 4-pin power connector, and is rated for operation from 0 to +40 °C. Reverse bias on the detector is limited to 0 V.
