All of AMICO's bar grating stair treads are designed and manufactured to comply with load requirements of ANSI/NAAMM MBG 531. AMICO stair treads are safe, self-cleaning, slip-resistant and economical.
Welded steel stair treads are the most widely used for their strength and ease of installation and are universally used in most industrial and commercial applications.
These treads conform to the paint requirements of the National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) for bar grating and bar grating treads. This paint process is a shop coat of manufacturers standard black paint that is designed to protect the treads from the elements during transit. Recommended installation would be in areas with limited exposure to the elements. For installations where the treads would be exposed to the elements, we recommend our galvanized treads or call for other coating options. Click here for the galvanized tread in this size.
