General Plastics Manufacturing Co. Self-skinning, Fire-retardant, Flexible Foam LAST-A-FOAM® WSF-1010

Description
Manufacturers in the aerospace industry rely on our flexible WSF-1010 self-skinning foam series (also known as integral skin foam) for aircraft interiors. This durable, flame-retardant aerospace polyurethane foam meets FAR 25.853 standards. It is used extensively in flight decks and cabin applications. The softer and more pliable of our flexible urethane foam products, this material is ideal as a flexible seal where aesthetics are important, such as aerospace interior gap seals. It can also be tinted and painted a variety of colors. PLEASE NOTE: These foams are not offered for sale as liquid kits or sheet stock. They are only available within a finished parts program. General Plastics LAST-A-FOAM® WSF-1010 material satisfies Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) and Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) core applications in many industries. In defense applications, it serves as submunition weapon packaging, and in the medical field, our flexible polyurethane foam is used in prosthetic limb manufacturing. Applications Interior Gap Seals Flight Deck Passenger Cabin Walls and Ceilings Passenger Compartment Overhead Stow Bins Service-Class Divider Partitions Food-Service Galleys Lavatories RTM/VARTM Core Submunition Weapon Packaging Prosthetic Limbs Advantages Durable Flame-retardant Self-skinning Easily tinted or painted in multiple colors Custom-molding ability
