The dry contact tag features two twisted wires that enable connection to a dry contact device. Once connected, the tag will monitor and report the open or closed state of the device. While the connected device is in either open or closed state, the tag will beacon the dry contact status every 10 seconds. When the dry contact state changes, the tag will immediately broadcast three beacons with the new dry contact status after 0.5 seconds and then return to beaconing every 10 seconds. The tag can be mounted using either the industrial-strength adhesive backing or by using the supplied plastic screw mount. This tag is impact resistant and temperature stable.
