LRL erbium-doped fiber reduces the fiber length required to build L-Band amplifiers. It is ideal for amplifiers for L-Band applications. Using both LRL and LSL erbium-doped fibers in an amplifier adds flexibility to the amplifier designs to reduce non-linear effects. We use patented processes to protect against hydrogen-induced loss.
