Fujitec America, Inc. Talon Elevator System

Description
Fujitec's innovative drive system for both new construction and modernization applications. Talon® – developed through a myriad of technological advancements – is aptly named given its function: to firmly and securely engage the elevator ropes, imparting appropriate force to control the upward and downward movement. This technology is totally different from conventional elevator hoist machines. For the first time, architects and engineers have developed elevator applications from two to 24 stories and have access to a sophisticated drive with all of the benefits of traditional drives (smooth, fast ride) – without all of the design and operational shortcomings. In short, there is no need to compromise. In fact, Talon® will serve as the primary drive mechanism for Fujitec’s new generation of elevator systems for global use. Fujitec North America can provide a variety of elegant fixtures, cabs and entrances. These architectural products provide a perfect combination of design flexibility and aesthetic appeal for any elevator installation. For architectural design options, please contact your local Fujitec sales representative. Less Load on Building Structure Lighter elevator cabs, counterweights, and rail-supported loads translate into less structure load on the building. Nearly all vertical loads are self supported. Space-Saving Design Talon’s compact motor and mechanical drive system minimize installation space requirements. Longer Rope Life The non-abrasive Talon Drive increases rope life. Significant Cab Weight Savings Reduced weight requires fewer resources for manufacturing and installation. Energy Savings Every Minute, Every Day Fujitec offers additional elevator management systems that maximize service and minimize energy consumption.
