Freudenberg Sealing Technologies VRM-Rings Axial Seals

The axial seals of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies are simple sealing elements that are particularly well-suited for use in combination with radial shaft seals, for example, against dirt, dust, grease and spray water. They consist of two components: a coated metal ring and a moulded, vulcanised elastomer sealing element. The metal ring protects the elastomer sealing element against damage. The axial seals have a good, dynamic sealing effect and low requirements on the integrated running surface in regard to surface quality.

Water deflectors (V-rings) protect sealing elements against grease, oil or water spray, as well as dust and other media. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies offers water deflectors in various designs that can be used for low load up to heavy-duty areas of application, for example, the new Merkel Enviromatic deflector. They function axially, meet the high requirements and are easy to mount, as well as being suitable even in case of high deflection.
