SnakeCam inspection camera is a new versatile device with exceptional illumination and viewing capabilities for extra dark sites. The system is available with 2 camera head diameters: 12 mm (0.47”) that houses 2 extra bright LED lights or 16 mm (0.63”) that has 4 extra bright LED lights. It is ideal for exploring air ducts, HVAC systems, vents, behind walls, cars in customs searches and any other hard-to-reach areas with opening diameter at least 14mm. The camera head diameter has been increased to fit additional super bright lights and a high-resolution camera to offer you even greater inspection experience in extremely dark areas. Any problem or flaw can now be thoroughly inspected with defects being clearly documented regardless of how dark the problem area is. This STRAHL Line SnakeCam can also be used for basic plumbing inspections since both the camera and probes are tightly sealed and waterproof. The Camera is available with both flexible and flex-and-stay probes of various diameters and lengths to help you reach difficult spots or navigate bends and obstacles in the pipes of different diameter. The SnakeCam Inspection System features a compact, hand-held control unit with a color 3.5” LCD display with a resolution of 720x640 pixels. Live images and snapshots can be viewed right on site, saved to an SD card or can be downloaded directly to a computer or laptop via a USB cable. An optional video output jack can transfer live images to a larger TV monitor, to discuss troubleshooting issues with customers on site. The unit offers intuitive operation regardless of the operator’s level of expertise, featuring large ergonomic controls and a user-friendly menu. Its highly portable design has an anti-shock construction, so the camera can travel with you anywhere. The device runs on a rechargeable LI-polymer battery that provides up to 4 hours of continuous video capture on a full charge, and requires only 2 hours to recharge.
