The HERON-A rigid videoscope can be used for different direct inspections and offers precise and detailed inspection records due to 340° rotatable probe. The device features a two way articulation tip. All the probes for the HERON-A rigid type videoscope with articulation feature a high-resolution CMOS Video Camera Chip and lights integrated at the tip, which offer sharp color still images and video of the inspection area. LED lights illumination intensity can be adjusted by pushing a button on the monitor to eliminate glare when inspecting reflective or metallic surfaces. All live and stored images are displayed in color on the integrated 3.5” LCD screen with a resolution of 720x640 pixels. Large ergonomic controls and intuitive menu options are easy to use for operators of any skill level. All captured files are saved to an SD memory card, and can be downloaded directly to a computer or laptop via a USB Cable. A video output jack transfers the image to a larger TV monitor allowing you to discuss repairs and troubleshooting directly with customers. The highly portable design is also waterproof (probe), and features anti-shock construction, so it can travel with you. A rechargeable LI-polymer battery provides up to 4 hours of continuous video capture on a full charge, and requires only 2 hours to recharge. The videoscope can also be attached to an image hub directly or through an optional flexible 3 meter extension cable. This inspection system is an ideal choice for aviation, automotive and law enforcement (police, SWAT, military, etc.) application.
