Our new STRAHL Downhole Camera is a great combination of modern technology and affordable price. Designed for a wide range of underground and underwater applications, the camera allows users to expand the range of their inspections with a minimal investment. New borehole camera system is well suited for inspecting various reservoirs, shafts, pipes, tanks and other objects from the top down. It is equipped with a ø60mm pan-and-tilt camera head enabling operators to receive a complete detailed image of the inspection area at one go. The camera pans 360° and tilts 180° exploring the sidewalls and “looking” forward as it travels down the pipeline. It is equipped with super bright long-lasting LED lights for intense homogenous illumination. The camera head housing is made of aluminum and is IP68 waterproof. The STRAHL Downhole Camera features a compact control unit with a high-resolution 5.7” LCD display. The inspection process can be viewed on the display right on site, captured as snap shots in JPEG format, or as video in MPEG4/AVI format. The user-friendly interface offers various operation features, for example, manual focus that allows the operator to focus on the object of interest, and many other. The new inspection system works with ø8mm flexible cables of different lengths (up to 300 meters) that can be securely coiled on a manual reel. The set also includes a centering skid for additional precision and on-screen depth counter to locate camera’s head within the well. The whole set is light and compact which is extremely important for operators who have to climb multiple flights of stairs and conduct inspections in awkward spaces.
