The 82E Series is a water-reducible acrylic modified alkyd enamel designed for metal substrates in interior and exterior applications, offering high gloss and excellent adhesion with a quick dry time of 1 hour. It has volume solids of 32 ± 2%, weight solids of 44 ± 2%, and a VOC content of 190 g/L. The recommended dry film thickness is 1-3 mils, with theoretical coverage of 513 ft²/gal at 1.0 mil. It achieves a gloss of 80+ at 60°, 5B adhesion per ASTM D3359, impact resistance exceeding 120 in-lbs, and 3H pencil hardness. Application is valid between 40°F and 100°F with relative humidity below 80%, and it can be thinned up to 10% with water. Shelf life is a minimum of 12 months at 73°F in unopened containers.
