Quixnamel Plus 714E is a low-HAPS, low-VOC high-gloss finish suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It contains less than 3.5 lbs/gallon of VOC and is designed to be used over an industrial primer. The product has a volume solids content of 31% and a weight solids content of 38%. It offers a theoretical coverage of 497.2 square feet per gallon at a dry film thickness of 1.0 mil, with a recommended dry film thickness between 1.5 to 3.0 mils. The drying time to handle is approximately 60 minutes. For optimal results, surfaces should be pre-cleaned according to SSPC-SP-1 standards, and the recommended surface preparation includes SSPC SP 6 for commercial blast cleaning. The product can be applied using various methods, including airless and conventional spray, as well as brush or roll for smaller areas. It is packaged ready to apply but can be thinned with a maximum of 10% of the specified thinner if necessary. The application conditions require a relative humidity of less than 80% and temperatures between 40¬8F and 100¬8F. Quixnamel Plus 714E has a shelf life of at least 12 months when stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Proper health and safety precautions should be observed during handling and application.
