The Cinterion BGS2-W Rel.2 Evaluation Kit is a straight forward solution to enable you to evaluate and test BGS2 Release-2 GSM/GPRS/SMS wireless modules. It includes a Starter Kit B80 Board that will connect to a PC via the USB cable to allow communications with the BGS2-W Rel.2 Evaluation Module. Power to the board can be either via the USB cable or an external power source. The Starter Kit B80 Board provides a U.FL connector that will give the evaluation module an RF antenna connection. Cinterion GSM modules & evaluation modules which include the 80-way interface connector can also work in operation with the Starter Kit B80, such as 7984356 (EHS5-E Rel.2 Eval Kit), 7984365 (EHS5-US Rel 2 Eval Kit).
