Description
The EnOcean STM 330 ISM-band transmitter module incorporates a solar cell power supply and a calibrated temperature sensor. Power is provided by either the on-board solar cell, an external energy harvester or an external 3V battery. An energy storage element is installed to bridge periods with no supply from the energy harvester. The module provides a user configurable cyclic wake up. After wake up a radio telegram will be transmitted in case of a significant change of measured temperature or set point values or if a room occupancy button is pressed. In case of no relevant input change, a redundant retransmission signal is sent after a user-configurable number of wake-ups to announce all current values. On-board solar cell energy harvester. Temperature sensor measurement range: 0 to 40°C. Operating frequency: 868.3MHz (STM 330 RS 786-3209), 315MHz (STM 330C RS 786-3218). Data rate: 125kbps. Modulation: ASK. Radiated output power: STM 330: 8dBm (typical EIRP), STM 330C 92dBî¼V/m typical. Start-up time with empty energy storage typically <2.5 min @ 400lux, 25°C. Initial operation time in darkness @25°C: typically 4 days if energy storage fully charged. Wake-up every 100s, transmission every 1000s on average. Internal input channels: temperature sensor, LRN button. External input channels: room occupancy button, set point dial, HSM 100 via 20-pin connector. LED transmission indicator.
