A low-cost alternative to wire-wound platinum resistance sensors, the PCR100 exhibits a base zero resistance of 100î© and has a linear output with an average sensitivity of 3.85mî©/°C over the temperature range -40 °C → 150 °C.,The resistor is made using a nickel, copper, manganese and iron alloy wire, wound on an epoxy former and encapsulated in a moisture and solvent resistant epoxy resin.
