Rollgliss R550 rescue and descent hubs are a compact, light and unique descender providing dual brakes for safety. A bi-directional hub allows the rope to descend from either side which allows one hook to go up as the other goes down. The unit has an anchorage point allowing it to be anchored with a carabiner or a sling. Automatic descent is controlled by dual brakes giving added safety and security plus integrated rope ears allow for greater descent speed control for assisted rescues. A 9.5 mm durable kernmantle rope is included, available in multiple lengths. There are many applications for the Rollgliss R550 include emergency escape, assisted rescue and pick-off, custom rescue.
