The high pressure common rail fuel injected engine teams with the EPOS (Electronic Power Optimizing System) for optimum power and fuel efficiency. This engine optimization also delivers increased horsepower and torque. Compared to previous models, the DX300LC-3 provides improved swing torque, digging force, lifting capacity and boom-up speed. Four selectable power modes give operators added control over the machine's performance and fuel consumption as they work. Using two boom float modes, operators can focus on their task while increasing the machine's efficiency. In float mode, the boom is allowed to move up and down freely, without hydraulic flow, making it ideal for finishing work and truck loading. In breaker mode, the boom freely moves downward, reducing machine and attachment wear while improving operator comfort. The larger, world-class cabin combines superior comfort, excellent visibility, low noise levels and a roomy environment. The reclining, height- and weight adjustable standard suspension seat has a headrest and adjustable armrest along with easier controls. Work naturally with the optional air suspension seat and simple controls. Enter and exit easily through the larger door opening. The high-performance air conditioning offers adjustable air flow and five operating modes.
