The S2006Y-125187 is a precision gear and dial hub made of 303 stainless steel with a 0.1873 in. bore and a 0.4375 in. outer diameter, designed to mount gears or dials without keys or splines. It features a set screw and a Dutch pin or stake for secure shaft attachment, with bore and hub dimensions concentric within 0.0003 in. T.I.R. The hub includes a 1/32 x 45° chamfer and is supplied with a set screw, compatible with #4-40 threading.
SDP/SI's precision gear and dial hubs are made to accommodate gears or dials and eliminate keys and splines. They are made of 303 stainless steel and are also available with our exclusive Fairloc® design, which is perfect when the hub O.D. is limited; it can be tightened and released repeatedly without marring the shaft or affecting torque-transmitting abilities.
