A 1M 4MYZ05 is a straight miter gear with 16 teeth and a module of 0.5, designed for transmitting rotational motion at a 90° angle. It has a pitch diameter of 8 mm, an outside diameter of 8.7 mm, a bore diameter of 3 mm, a face width of 8 mm, a hub length of 6 mm, a hub diameter of 10.5 mm, and an overall length of 8 mm. The gear is made of acetal and features a 20° pressure angle.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
