A 1C 4MYKW30020A is a straight miter gear with 20 teeth and a module of 3, designed for 90° power transmission. It has a 20° pressure angle, steel construction, and a ground bore with a 20 mm diameter tolerance of +0.015/0 mm. The gear features a keyway, a face width of 22 mm, and a hub length of 34 mm, with two set screws spaced 120° apart. Tooth surfaces are induction hardened to HRC 47–53.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
