A 1C 4MYK25030 is a straight miter gear with 30 teeth and a module of 2.5, made of steel, with a ground bore and tooth surfaces induction hardened to HRC 47-53. It has a pitch diameter of 78.54 mm, a bore diameter of 24 mm with a tolerance of +0.021/0 mm, a face width of 15.5 mm, and a hub length of 21.5 mm. The gear includes a keyway and uses a set screw. It is sold as a single unit, not as a matched set.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
