A 1B 4MYK08030S is a straight-tooth miter gear with 0.8 module, 30 teeth, and a 24 mm pitch diameter, designed for 90° power transmission. It is made of brass, has a 6 mm bore with H8 tolerance, a 5.6 mm hub projection, a 12.34 mm hub diameter, and a 20 mm face width. The gear includes two M4 set screws at 120° spacing and is sold as a single unit.
Standard straight-tooth miter gears are a type of bevel gear set that has a 1:1 ratio, identical dimensions, and the same number of teeth, allowing them to mate with one another and transmit rotational motion at a 90° angle. Although the number of teeth in a spiral miter gear set is the same, the twisting directions are different, preventing them from mating with one another. Our straight-tooth miter gears are manufactured utilizing a CNC Coniflex® interlocking cutting system. Spiral miter gears must be paired with one right-hand thread and one left-hand thread.
